We previously highlighted a case report of pyridoxine toxicity from nutritional supplement use in January 2025. More recently (June 2026), Job, Govender and Gengiah published an editorial in the SAMJ which highlights this issue and recommends sensible, practical steps to balance proven benefits for certain patient populations with limiting dose-related toxicity.
