Looking to keep your HIV/TB knowledge up to date but you don't have enough time in your day?

The National HIV & TB HCW Hotline is introducing
WhatsApp-based training:
short weekly sessions held conveniently at lunchtime.

HIV and TB treatment is updated regularly as new data comes in, as are the guidelines. We know that ongoing training of healthcare workers is vital but ongoing training has many challenges.

Over the past three years, one of our pharmacists, Briony Chisholm, developed and tested microlearning (short lessons with one to two learning points) in WhatsApp groups, with great results.

Participants found the training acceptable, feasible, enjoyable, and it improved knowledge and patient care.
