If Einstein hadn’t shared his knowledge, where would we be now?

Three computer scientists have developed a browser plug-in that allows researchers to locate legally archived articles that are freely accessible, when they may have hit a paywall requiring payment for access to a particular journal article.

In July, Elsevier announced plans to integrate the service, called Unpaywall, into its Scopus database searches. Here’s to opening up access to medical information and research!
