FDA modifies advice for NSAID use in pregnancy

The FDA now advises the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) should be avoided from the 20th week of pregnancy due to the possible risk of oligohydramnios (unless under close medical supervision).

This advisory does not include low dose aspirin (81mg) when used for certain pregnancy-related conditions:
